When you visit a country, the acquaintance with the local flavors is another way to approach its culture. In Paris, I had the fortune to meet Aurelie, one of the two inspirers of “Succulent Paris”. Aurelie with her friend Marrion helps you to approach the French Cuisine through their personal and unique paths in flavors.
Aurelie guided us in a Paris neighborhood away from the tourist spotlights. On quite routes and small shops where the contact with the shopkeepers is personal and friendly. We tried special sausage flavors, exquisite pralines, champagne honey and the best macaron we have ever tasted. We wished a good day to the shopkeepers, they smiled to us and even for a while we felt like we were locals who had gone out for the daily shopping.
The two women are keep trying to discover new places so as every time the exploration to be unique.
Food tour is organized according to the visitor desires. So depending on your taste you’ll wander in places where you’ll learn, taste, enjoy and discover the flavors you do like and prefer.
Alongside, Aurelie organizes at her home cook classes. There, you can be introduced to French Cuisine recipes and you can easily cook with simple ingredients. A walk in a Paris neighborhood with Aurelie or Marrion will be definitely one of the most enjoyable memories of your trip.
Even for a while, you’ll feel like a real Parisian. You’ll taste special flavors and you’ll learn many secrets of the French Cuisine.
If you ever find yourself in Paris, it is worthwhile to live this experience.
